Ben Domingo has qualified for the New Balance Nationals competition in March. On December 29th, Domingo, along with his teammates from the Yonkers Public Schools Track Team, competed at the Armory Holiday Classic in Manhattan where he achieved this goal.
“Ever since my freshman year, I always wanted to make it to nationals and race the best of the best.”
In both preliminary and final rounds of this competition Domingo achieved personal best times in hurdling. Placing fourth in this competition was enough to earn him a spot at the New Balance Nationals in Boston. He currently ranks 8th in New York state.
High School senior Ben Domingo will be taking his athletic talent and skills to Manhattan College next year and we wish him the best.
