The Oscar winning actor and Yonkers native, Jon Voight, posted a video recently talking about what he feels for former President Donald Trump.
“My fellow Americans, we are in danger of a third world war. We as a family of one truth must hear this now and look at this lie, this deceit that continues day after day,” he warns Americans in the video.
“If we don’t see this lie, this land will die,” he continue.
The star questioned the current government and talked about the positive changes he felt that Trump can and has brought to the country.
“It’s supposed to be the land of the free, it’s far from it. It’s a dark web, a dark world, but not for long because my friends a change is coming and a new light will emerge,” he said while talking about how Trump is going to change the nation.
He emphasized people to come under one umbrella and understand what the future holds “Let us pray that the one President who understood truths and had the best interests of the American people […] will return to the Presidency. He and only he can stop this swamp.”
Voight hopes that people will understand “what the current government is doing” and give another chance to Trump.
Voight is one of the biggest names from Yonkers to show support for the former President after he announced his candidacy for the 2024 election.
