Community Voices Heard (CVH) founded as a grassroots organization in New York dedicated to empowering low-income and marginalized communities. Through advocacy, organizing, and civic engagement, CVH amplifies the voices of those often unheard. They strive for social and economic justice, affordable housing, and equitable policies that uplift the community’s well-being.
Congressman Jamaal Bowman represents New York’s 16th Congressional District which includes Yonkers. He is a progressive leader committed to addressing issues of economic inequality, education, and social justice. A former educator, he aims to bring a fresh perspective to Congress while advocating for policies that promote equity and opportunity for all constituents.
Details and Registration
The two hour long event runs from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the A/B Community Room on the second floor of the Yonkers’ Riverfront Public Library located at 1 Larkin Center.
