Yonkers Downtown Restaurant Week Returns with Irresistible Dining Deals

The Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District will once again host the delicious Yonkers Downtown Restaurant Week starting on February 19 and running through March 10.

The first known restaurant week began in New York City in 1992. It was created by Tim Zagat, founder of Zagat Survey and Joseph Baum, a famous restauranteur. The original idea was a four-day event as a goodwill gesture towards the those attending the Democratic National Convention. With it, they unintentionally set into motion the most nationally popular week for incredible deals and the luxury of tasting fine dishes from all over the world.

Since 2012, Yonkers has held its own version and it has only grown in size and popularity. The first annual Yonkers Downtown Restaurant Week was a huge success and has naturally become our own special tradition.
